Space Theatre

The Space Theatre is located on the west side of the second - floor of Beijing Planetarium. The hemispherical screen has a diameter of 18 meters and is tilted 15 degrees in total. It is equipped with an advanced digital planetarium system and can accommodate 200 spectators to watch films simultaneously. The theatre’s audience looks skyward at the immersive domed screen, feel the movement of celestial bodies and the changes of nebulae, and immerse themselves in the wonder and majesty of the starry sky.
